1974 : Queen received silver award for Sheer Heart Attack sales in the UK. [43 years]
1978 : Queen live on Jazz tour at Auditorium, Nashville, USA. [39 years]
1979 : Queen started their Crazy Tour at RDS Simmons Hall, Dublin, Ireland. On this tour they played mostly smaller venues. It was their first ever concert in Ireland and first time ever they played Save Me (released in January followin year). 1963 : Roger worked in a recording studio for the first time at Wadebridge Sound Studios, taking lead vocals and drums on In The Midnight Hour and I Got You (I Feel Good), backing vocals and drums on I'll Go Crazy and drums only on Bona Sera, Just A Little Bit and What's On Your Mind with The Reaction. [54 years]
1973 : Queen live at Apollo Theatre, Glasgow, Scotland. [44 years]
1975 : Queen live on A Night At The Opera Tour at Winter Gardens, Bournemouth, UK. [42 years]

1978 : Queen live on Jazz tour at Checkerdome, St. Louis, USA. For accomodation they used the Sheraton Hotel. [39 years]
1980 : Queen opened their European tour at the Hallenstadion, Zurich, Switzerland. For the first time on stage Queen used a synthesizer played by Brian. The encore had Freddie carried on stage by "Darth Vader" what caused a huge problem as they had not asked permission to use the Star Wars character, and they were nearly taken to court. 1983 : Queen filmed a video for Radio Ga Ga directed by David Mallet at Carlton TV/Shepperton Studios. They bought the rights to some footage from the 1926 Fritz Lang film Metropolis from the German Government. This footage was cut in with shots of the band, and the video included a cast of hundreds of Queen Fan Club members for the handclapping sequences, which became famous and everywhere the band played the track fans raised their hands and clap in unison. 1991 : Freddie issued a press statement informing everyone that he had the AIDS virus: "Following enormous conjecture in the press, I wish to confirm that I have been tested HIV positive and have AIDS. I felt it correct to keep this information private to date in order to protect the privacy of those around me. However, the time has now come for my friends and fans around the world to know the truth. I hope that everyone will join with me, my doctors and all those worldwide in a fight against this terrible disease. My privacy has always been very special to me and I am famous for my lack of interviews. Please understand that this policy will continue." [26 years]

2001 : The Freddie Mercury Photographic Exhibition was opened to public at Shibuya Parco in Tokyo, Japan. For 10 days visitors were able to see Hot Space and Magic Tour stage costumes and It's A Hard Life video red costume. There were a picture of Freddie taken in 1986 in Japan. [16 years]
